Snowmass Village Mall Mardi Gras Celebration : Parade
A parade was started, but because the pedestrian mall was so short, it took about 15 minutes for the handful of floats to make their way from end to end. So, they just turned around and marched back the other way, said Linda Reynolds, who worked for SRA at the time. "It was hard to figure out who was watching and who was in it," she said, because the "floats" often were people in costume carrying things over their heads, and revelers would just blend right in."
