Maroon Bells
The Maroon Bells are the most photographed peaks in North America. Named for their color and distinctive bell shape, the mountains rise over 14,000 feet. A smooth paved road, from Aspen, runs up to Maroon Lake offering easy access and incredible views. |

Independence Pass
Crossing the Continental Divide at 12,095 feet, Independence Pass road connects Aspen to Twin Lakes and Leadville during the summer months. The pass normally opens Memorial Day and closes in early November. |
